Fused Glass art is our passion. What is Fused Glass? Fused Glass sometimes referred to as "Warm Glass" is that art of designing patterns or artistic designs by cutting pieces of colored and dichroic or iridized glass, piecing them together into our unique patterns and designs and heating the glass to the point they 'fuse' together. After cooling, slumping the glass in a mold or, using ceramic or stainless steel shapes, forming the glass to fit the desired shape we are looking for - all without breaking the glass first.

Jeanne and Richard have spent long hours and sleepless nights creating the many one of a kind works of Fused Glass Art that you will find here. We want to share our passion for Fused Glass Vases, Plates, Bowls and Jewelry with you. Our prices are not what we think of as "Artist Prices", inflated for ego - but rather are reasonable and by comparison to what we've seen elsewhere, really quite low.

Shimmering Glass uses only the finest materials in all of the fused glass artistic designs and patterns. We like to experiment, trying new techniques or styles, playing with new glass in unique colors. All to create exciting one of a kind works of fused glass art for you to enjoy. Fused Glass Ribbon Vases are a wonderful example, featuring ribbons of glass that twist and turn throughout the vase, seeming almost to erupt from the mouth of the vase.
