Handkerchief Vases from Shimmering Glass look like tissue pulled from a box, Fused Glass Ribbon Vases are handkerchief Vases with ribbons of glass that twist, turn and move throughout the vase itself. Both Handkerchief Vases and Ribbon Vases are created by 'slumping' the fused glass piece over a stainless steel 'floral form', heating the kiln to approximately 1250 degrees and allowing the glass to bend and fold to achieve the desired shape.
Shimmering Glass also offers a wonderful selection of Fused Glass Drop Vases. Drop Vases are created by heating glass to 1325 degrees and 'dropping' the glass thru a hole in a mold until it reaches the desired height.
